Iliv Ro+UV Alkaline water
When to choose RO based water purifiers?
If the TDS of your source water is more than 500 PPM and if water
contains dissolved solids like fluoride, arsenic, lead etc, you require
an RO System of filtration. Its a good idea to get your water tested in
a lab or by a qualified technician . Depending on the water test
report, if water contains fluoride, arsenic, lead more than suggested
range, you have to go for RO water purifier.
Reverse osmosis is used in situations where all particles including dissolved substance must be stripped from the water.
Some people prefer RO water from their refrigerator or tap, especially if they’re on ground water supply.
Iliv UV+ UF Water purifiers
When to choose UF based water purifiers?
Ultrafiltration is the filtration method of choice for people who prefer
minerals left in their water but still want microscopic contaminants
taken out. If the TDS of your water is less than 500 PPM, you can go
for a UF water Purifier. A UF system wastes less water as well.
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a type of membrane filtration in which hydrostatic pressure forces a liquid
against a semipermeable membrane. Ultrafiltration uses hollow fibers of membrane material and the feed water
flows either inside the shell, or in the lumen of the fibers. Suspended solids and solutes of high molecular weight are retained,
while water and low molecular weight solutes pass through the membrane.
